Bibo opens in Putney

Restaurateur Rebecca Mascarenhas has opened a new eatery in Putney on the former site of Wallace & Co. Bibo threw it's doors open at the beginning of March, in Upper Richmond Road on the same spot as the Masterchef presenter Gregg Wallace's restaurant which shut earlier this year.The Italian restaurant will be Mrs Mascheranhas' second project in the area following the success of Cantinetta in Lower Richmond Road.Bibo’s head chef, Chris Beverley, has also worked at Theo Randall and Chez Bruce. Rebecca has also been the force behind such neighbourhood restaurants as Sonny's Kitchen, Kitchen W8, Sam's Brasserie and Sonny's in Nottingham. We have high hopes for this and wish them every success.
